What we collect — and why

This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information ReM3Dx uses when you visit the Site, buy a digital product or contact support. We aim to collect only what is needed to operate the store and help customers.

1. Who is responsible for your data

ReM3Dx is responsible for the personal information described in this policy when you use rem3dx.fun, communicate with us or receive product support. For questions or privacy requests, email support@rem3dx.fun.

FastSpring separately acts as the Merchant of Record for checkout transactions and processes transaction data under its own privacy information and legal responsibilities.

2. Information we collect

Order and account information

Your name, email address, country, order reference, products purchased and order history. A billing address or phone number may also be collected if it is required or supplied at checkout.

Messages and support

The information you send when you contact us, including your email address, message, attachments and any details needed to resolve an order or product issue.

Technical and usage information

IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address, and security or error logs. This information can be collected by the Site and its hosting, analytics or security providers.

Marketing preferences

Your email address and subscription preference if you choose to receive news or offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Payment details: FastSpring handles payment information used at checkout. ReM3Dx does not receive or store raw payment card numbers or security codes.

3. How and why we use information

  • To fulfil a contract: process an order, provide a download, maintain purchase records and deliver customer support.
  • To meet legal obligations: keep required business or tax records and respond to lawful requests.
  • For legitimate interests: secure the Site, prevent fraud, diagnose errors, understand Site performance and improve products and support.
  • With consent where required: send optional marketing or use non-essential technologies that require consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

We do not use personal information for a new, incompatible purpose without an appropriate legal basis and notice where required.

4. When information is shared

We share personal information only when needed for the purposes described above:

  • with FastSpring for checkout, billing, tax, fraud prevention and transaction support;
  • with service providers that support hosting, email, downloads, analytics, backups, security or customer support;
  • with professional advisers where necessary to protect legal rights;
  • with authorities or other parties when law requires it or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse or a security threat.

Service providers may use information only for their authorised service and under their own legal obligations or agreements. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. ReM3Dx may use essential cookies for features such as the cart, login, security and basic Site operation. Analytics or preference cookies may also be used to understand performance and remember choices.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart, account or checkout from working correctly. Third-party checkout or embedded services may set their own cookies under their privacy information.

6. International processing

ReM3Dx and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where privacy law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the responsible party will use an approved legal mechanism or another valid safeguard.

7. How long information is kept

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected:

  • order and transaction records are kept for customer support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal claims for the period required by applicable law;
  • support messages are kept while the issue is active and for a reasonable follow-up period;
  • marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or the list is no longer used;
  • technical and security logs are kept according to operational and provider retention schedules.

Information may be retained longer where law requires it, a dispute is active or it is needed to protect legal rights. It is then deleted or anonymised when no longer required.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers. No website or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorised account activity.

9. Your privacy rights

  • ask what personal information we hold and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion or restriction in eligible circumstances;
  • object to certain processing, including direct marketing;

We may update this policy when the Site, our services or legal requirements change. The latest version is published here and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change is significant, we will provide additional notice where required.
